# Elfsight

Elfsight is a library of ready-made widgets the merchant can add to their store without any development work. Widgets cover things such as customer reviews, social media feeds, contact forms, countdown timers, FAQ sections and chat buttons.

Widgets are configured per store, so a merchant running more than one store can give each its own set.

### How Elfsight Works

The Elfsight section has two tabs:

* **Marketplace** - browse the Elfsight catalogue and create a new widget for the selected store.
* **Installed Widgets** - manage the widgets already created for that store.

Once a widget has been created, the merchant can:

* **Edit** - change the widget's appearance and settings.
* **Copy embed** - copy the widget's embed code so it can be placed on a page in the store's content.
* **Disable** - switch the widget off without deleting it.

### How to Add an Elfsight Widget

1. Click on Apps in the left-hand menu
2. Click on Elfsight
3. Select the store you would like to add a widget to
4. Open the Marketplace tab
5. Browse the catalogue and choose the widget you want
6. Configure the widget and save it
7. Open the Installed Widgets tab and click Copy embed
8. Paste the embed code into the page where the widget should appear

{% hint style="info" %}
A widget only appears on the storefront once its embed code has been placed on a page. Creating the widget on its own is not enough.
{% endhint %}

### Need Help?

If a widget is not displaying as expected, check that it is enabled on the Installed Widgets tab and that the embed code is still present on the page.
