# Stock Level Report

The Stock Level Report gives the merchant a single view of stock across every product and variant, so they can see what is still sellable and what needs reordering.

### What the Report Shows

* **Sku** - the stock keeping unit for the product.
* **Product Name** - the name customers see on the store.
* **Product Description** - the description held against the product.
* **On Hand** - the physical quantity recorded against the product.
* **Available** - the quantity that can still be sold.
* **Reserved** - stock that has been set aside and is no longer sellable.
* **Committed** - stock promised to orders that have not yet been dispatched.

### Understanding Available Stock

Available is not simply the quantity on the shelf. It is what is left once everything already spoken for has been taken off, along with the low stock threshold the merchant has set:

> Available = On Hand - Reserved - Committed - Low Stock Threshold

This is why Available can read lower than On Hand, and why it can reach zero while there is still physical stock in the building. That remaining stock is either reserved, committed to an order, or being held back by the threshold.
