Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers are digital vouchers customers buy and redeem as payment on your store. They work like a traditional gift certificate, but are issued and redeemed online.
This section is where you view every voucher that has been purchased and manage it.
What You Can Do with a Voucher
From the voucher list, use the kebab menu against a voucher to:
Activate a voucher so it can be used.
Deactivate a voucher, which prevents it being redeemed without removing it.
Delete a voucher.
Email the voucher to the customer again, which is what you use when a customer says it never arrived.
How to Manage a Gift Voucher
Click on Sales
Click on Gift Vouchers
Find the voucher you want to work with
Click the kebab menu against it and select the action you want
Working with Several Vouchers at Once
Vouchers can be activated, deactivated or deleted in bulk, which saves working through them one at a time.
Select the vouchers you want using the checkboxes
Choose the bulk action you want to apply
Creating Vouchers in Bulk
Where you need a batch of vouchers at once, for example for a corporate customer or a campaign, use the bulk create option rather than creating them individually.
Exporting
Click Export to download the voucher list as a spreadsheet.
To see which vouchers have actually been redeemed and how much value is left on each, use the Voucher Usage Report.
Deleting a voucher cannot be undone. If a customer may still need it, deactivate it instead, which stops it being used but keeps the record.
