# Shipping

Shipping methods determine how customers receive their orders and what they are charged for delivery. The merchant can enable as many methods as they need on each store, and set the order in which those methods are presented at checkout.

Methods fall into two groups. The first are managed entirely within the store, such as collection points and fixed shipping rates. The second are courier integrations, which connect the store to a delivery company so that rates and waybills come from the courier directly.
