Skynet

Skynet is a courier integration. Once it is enabled and configured, the store can quote Skynet delivery rates at checkout and send orders to Skynet for collection.

The merchant needs an existing Skynet account to use this method. The credentials below are supplied by Skynet.

Configuration

Account Details

  • Username and Password - the credentials for the merchant's Skynet account.

  • System ID - the identifier Skynet issues for connecting to their system.

  • Account Number - the Skynet account the store's shipments are billed to.

Collection Address

The address Skynet collects from. This is made up of up to four address lines, plus the suburb, the city and the postal code. It should be the address where parcels are physically packed and ready for collection.

Service Type

The Skynet service the store's shipments default to, such as an overnight or economy service. The service the merchant chooses affects both the delivery speed quoted to the customer and the rate charged.

Sandbox Mode

Sandbox Mode lets the merchant test the integration without creating real shipments or incurring charges. Switch Sandbox Mode off when the store goes live, otherwise real orders will not reach Skynet.
