Promotion message

Controls the wording shown on a product when it is on promotion, so that a reduced price is presented consistently across the storefront.

Settings

• Message - the wording shown alongside a promotional price.

• Icon class - an optional icon displayed with the message.

• Date format - how any dates in the message are displayed, such as the date a promotion ends.

How to Configure the Promotion Message

1. Select the store you would like to update

2. Click on Manage Store Settings underneath Settings

3. Open Catalogue & Products

4. Open the Promotion message section

5. Set the message, icon and date format

6. Save your changes

A promotion end date can create useful urgency, but only where it is accurate. Shoppers notice when a deadline passes and the price does not change.
