# Image Sizes

How uploaded images are resized and cropped for each part of the storefront. When you upload an image, the store generates the versions it needs from it, which is what keeps pages loading quickly.

Changing a size affects images generated from that point on. Images already uploaded keep the sizes they were generated with.
