# Organization schema

Structured data describing your business to search engines. Filling this in helps search engines understand who you are, and is what allows your logo, contact details and social profiles to appear alongside your business in search results.

### Settings

#### Business Details

* **Name** - your trading name.
* **Legal name** - your registered company name, where it differs.
* **URL** - your storefront address.
* **Logo URL** - the address of your logo image.
* **Description** - a short description of your business.
* **Founding date** - the date the business was founded.
* **Founders** - the people who founded it.

#### Contact

* **Email** and **Telephone** - your public contact details.
* **Contact type** - the kind of contact these details are for, such as customer support or sales.
* **Area served** - the regions you trade in.
* **Available languages** - the languages your team can assist in.

#### Address

* **Street address**, **Locality (city)**, **Region (province/state)**, **Postal code** and **Country (ISO code)**.

#### Profiles

* **Same as (profile URLs)** - the addresses of your profiles elsewhere, such as social media or a company register. These confirm to a search engine that those profiles are the same business.

Make sure these details match what appears elsewhere on your store and on your other profiles. Conflicting information is worse than leaving a field blank.
