# Save for later

Lets shoppers move an item out of their cart without losing it, so they can come back to it on another visit. It is a useful alternative to a shopper abandoning the whole cart because they are unsure about one item.

### Settings

* **Title** - the heading shown above the saved items.
* **Description** - the short explanation shown to the shopper.
* **Timeout** - how long a saved item is kept before it is cleared.

### How to Configure Save for Later

1. Select the store you would like to update
2. Click on Manage Store Settings underneath Settings
3. Open Shopping Experience
4. Open the Save for later section
5. Set the title, description and timeout
6. Save your changes

Saved items are held against the customer's account, so they need to be signed in for their saved items to still be there on their next visit.
