Store name & tagline

The public name and short tagline shown in the storefront header and the browser tab. This is not something most merchants change often, but it is the first thing to update if a store rebrands or changes its trading name.

Settings

• Store name - the name shown in the header and the browser tab.

• Tagline - a short line beneath the name describing what the store sells.

How to Update the Store Name

1. Click on the store you want to update

2. Click on Manage Store Settings underneath Settings

3. Open Store Identity

4. Open the Store name & tagline section

5. Click into the Store name field and enter the new name

6. Enter a tagline if you want one shown beneath the name

7. Save your changes

8. Open your storefront and refresh the page to confirm the header and browser tab now show the new name

Changing the store name here changes what customers see. It does not change your store's web address, your invoicing details or the address your email is sent from. Those are set under Store address and Notifications & Email.
