# Storing Vehicle to parts on orders (Core)

Custom data sent with an add-to-cart request (such as filter selections or configurator choices) is now saved against the order line instead of being silently discarded.

Preserves customer product-configuration data (e.g. fitment or configurator selections) for order fulfillment and reporting, reducing errors from lost details.
