# CDN region setting introduced

Added the ability to specify a custom AWS region for a store's media bucket, and fixed backoffice file operations to consistently use the same bucket, region, and credentials.

**This includes:**

* Configurable custom AWS region for a store's media bucket
* Fixes upload failures for buckets outside the default region
* Fixed mismatch between upload/listing bucket and the copy/move bucket
* All file operations now consistently target the same per-store bucket, region, and credentials

**How it benefits the Merchant**

This resolves media upload failures for merchants using non-default AWS regions, ensuring product images and other assets upload reliably. This resolves file upload failures for merchants using a custom CDN bucket, ensuring backoffice file management works reliably end-to-end.

**Potential FAQs**

A: No — this setting is specifically needed for stores using buckets outside the default AWS region.

Q: Will this fix apply automatically to my existing bucket configuration?

A: You need to specify the custom region setting for your bucket for this fix to take effect.
