Releases: V8.017.019 - V8.018.007

This month we shipped seven new features and thirty enhancements to help you run your store more smoothly. The standout additions are Google Sign-In and Sign in with Apple for faster customer logins, alongside a redesigned Store Settings Experience and responsive banners and images for a better storefront. You'll also notice improvements to predictive search on multi-store setups and bundle fulfilment on orders, making everyday tasks quicker and more reliable.

In this release: New features - Enhancements

New features

  • Headless Commerce API - A standalone Commerce API, so you can build your own storefront or connect other systems directly to your store.

  • Google Sign-In for Customers - Customers can now sign in to your storefront with their Google account, configured per store under Login methods.

  • Sign in with Apple - Customers can now sign in to your storefront using Sign in with Apple, configured per store under Login methods.

  • New Store Settings Experience - Store Settings has been reorganised into nine clearly named categories, each with a short description on every setting.

  • Badges, Metadata and Tags Data Transfer Profile - Added a Data Transfer Framework profile for product badges, metadata and tags, so these can be imported and exported in bulk.

  • Payment Details on Merchant Invoice Emails - The invoice email sent to merchants now includes the payment details for the order.

  • Order Expiry Webhook - Added a webhook that fires when an order expires, so connected systems can react to an unpaid order lapsing.

  • Responsive Banners and Images - Content images and banners now load at a size suited to the visitor's screen, with separate desktop, tablet and mobile artwork served from a single content block.
