# Cart Expiry in Minutes

Cart expiry is now set in minutes, and save-for-later carts can no longer be kept indefinitely.

**This includes:**

* Cart expiry settings are now expressed in minutes for finer control.
* Save-for-later carts now have a maximum lifespan so they cannot persist forever.

**How it benefits the Merchant**

You can now tune how quickly carts expire with much greater precision, and saved-for-later carts are capped so they do not linger indefinitely. This helps keep cart and inventory data more accurate and up to date.
