# Email Alerts When Data Imports Fail (DTF)

When a DTF import fails, the system can now automatically send an email notification to inform the merchant. A new template is available in the backoffice, and each import configuration has a setting to turn these notifications on or off.

* Faster reaction to issues: you’re immediately alerted when product, stock or other imports fail.
* Less manual checking: no need to continually monitor import logs to see if something went wrong.
* Reduced data errors: problems are picked up and fixed sooner, minimising incorrect or outdated information on the storefront.
