Affiliates
Affiliates are individuals or businesses that promote your products and earn a commission on the sales they bring in. Each affiliate gets a unique link, and when a customer arrives through that link and buys, the sale is credited to them.
Affiliates promote through whatever channels suit them, such as their own website, a blog, social media or email.
How to Add an Affiliate
Click on Marketing > Affiliates
Click on the Create icon
Enter the affiliate's details. Name, surname and email address are the minimum required
Click Create
Click the kebab menu against the affiliate and click copy URL
Send that unique URL to your affiliate to use in their promotion
The unique URL is what links a sale back to the affiliate. If they share your ordinary store address instead, their sales will not be tracked and they will not be credited.
Tracking Affiliate Performance
Four reports cover affiliate activity:
Conversion Summary Report - total sales driven by each affiliate.
Conversion Detail Report - the individual orders behind those totals.
Lead Summary Report - how many customer registrations each affiliate referred.
Lead Detail Report - the individual registrations.
How repeat orders from a referred customer are credited is set under Store Settings > Marketing & Growth > Affiliates.
